The creative force driving the Blue Spa brand is Ronda Hawara-Nofal, an entrepreneur with a passion for beauty services. Mother, wife, friend or businesswoman–Ronda keeps up quite the balancing act, defying labels with effortless grace.
After graduating from FIDM with a degree in Marketing, Ronda served with some of the top ad agencies in LA, before moving on to launch her first venture. In 1999 “Light Speed Laser” first opened its doors for business. Spearheaded by Ronda’s keen sense of service and customer needs, what started as a small operation with a single hair removal machine soon morphed into the largest laser and botox facility in the nation. Ronda’s multifaceted skillset and inherent ability to connect with people paved the way for a small business to thrive in a changing business landscape.
Light Speed Spa’s early success spurred Ronda to explore new avenues to grow the business. She sensed a vacuum in the marketplace for a comprehensive facility that combined the innovation of medical beauty with the luxury of a spa. This vacuum was the inspiration for the future, and shaped the vision of the Blue Spa brand.
With Ronda at the helm, Light Speed Spa was rebranded Blue Spa in early 2003, to reflect its new and expansive scope of services. Today, Blue Spa is the first and largest medical spa of its kind in the nation, delivering a never-before experience that fuses science and innovation with aesthetics and customer-experience.
LA and beyond, Blue Spa is recognized as one of the pioneers and powerhouses in the medical spa beauty movement. Since its inception, Blue has been graced with the cream of LA’s social elite, from jet-setting socialites to celebrities and starlets, including Virginia Madsen, Toni Braxton, Shannon Elizabeth and Nikki Cox, just to name a few.
At its core, Blue is an upscale lifestyle brand. Blue’s ambiance is wholly tailored to the refined aesthetics of its clientele. Sporting a retro-futuristic look, the environment and atmosphere are complemented with dramatic cutouts, neon lit walls and amoeba settees. Whether it’s the highly-qualified medical staff, the cutting-edge solutions in medical beauty technology, or the pharmaceutical-grade cosmetic products, Ronda’s commitment to sheer, unadulterated pampering is evident in every nook and cranny of its 6,000-square feet facility. Sporting 12 full-featured treatment rooms and a capacity for 150, Blue and its staff of over 50 specialists are a cut above the rest.
